Tasting Rossini

Italian language course, lyric music and cooking

The course is focused on Gioacchino Rossini, excellent musician and gastronomist.

During the classes, students will have the chance to listen to some of the well-known Rossini’s arias and analyze them thanks to modern translations. Special attention will be given to grammar, language structures and activities which underline the famous Rossini’s passion for cooking.

The course includes:

  1. two tickets for the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro
    “Le siège de Corinthe”
    “La pietra del paragone”
  2. a guided visit to Urbino, one of the most important Italian Renaissance cities
  3. a guided visit to Pesaro, Gioacchino Rossini’s hometown
  4. a gastronomic path hot on the truffle, recurring element in the cooking “alla Rossini”: in Acqualagna, the world-famous truffle city, visit to an handicraft truffle laboratory.

Course price: 570 € 

A minimum number of students is required to start the course.
